It's all about MUSIC!

This is one of my favorite weeks in my 3rd grade class! We get to learn all about music! We start by learning the 5 line staff, the G clef, basic notes, and basic time signatures! Take a look at the videos below! 







Core Standard: 3rd Grade Fine Arts, Music, Standard : Explain quarters, eighths, 2/4, and 3/4 meters, draw and explain the 5 line staff, G clef, and names of notes on the G clef.

Lets talk WAR!

This is my favorite part of history! WORLD WAR II!!! We will go through this time line and learn all about major events, especially the United States role. We will then make our own time line!

Cursive Writing Tips for Mrs. Algers Class!

These are a few cursive writing tips that I think would be awesome to use in class! There are a few tips on actually teaching how to write cursive, and then also a few cute ideas to put up around the classroom in order for the kids to see how to write in cursive!

Rule the Rules!!!

This week has been a blast in Mrs. Sydnee's class. We learned all about Soccer, Football, and Volleyball. We got to go outside and play all three and even had a little competition. Here are the slides that we reviewed in class about the rules of these three fun sports!
